The Crisis, information and referral phone line for the city and it is a resource that anyone can call for help. If someone is suicidal they can send out a mobile crisis team (from Baltimore Crisis Response) if needed. If someone is looking for help for themselves or someone else they can call the line and be connected to HCAM (health care access Maryland) for referrals and they can also help make appointments. It may be helpful for everyone in the city to know this number.

  • 211/United way now offers a statewide crisis hotline.

  • If someone calls are in crisis they are prompted to press 1 then 211 will connect them to a crisis team in their jurisdiction.

  • If the person just needs information or resources, 211 can offer those as well.
