After receiving a degree in social work from UMBC, Michelle relocated to Minnesota to manage a program for people struggling with severe and persistent mental illness.
Shortly after moving, Michelle was invited to take a yoga class, and instantly fell in love with the practice. She quickly began feeling the benefits of her yoga practice, including relief from long-term back pain, lowered levels of anxiety, and even better management of her asthma.
Michelle completed her teacher training in the spring of 2011, and soon began teaching yoga full time. She has taught many different styles, including Vinyasa, traditional Hot Yoga, and Restorative Yoga.
